I like to work with my hands, so I get frustrated when my quilting to do list is all machine work. Plus, I already have the Mystery Project and Strawberry Patch to machine quilt, so I decided to hand quilt this one.
I haven't gotten very far with it, but I really enjoy spending my evenings with it.
Linking up to Freshly Pieced - go see what everyone else is up to this week!
Look forward to seeing the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and the quilting is looking great!
ReplyDeletePS I kept reading back through your posts and they made me laugh, so terrible as it is to add another excuse for procrastination to my Reader, I've signed on as a follower. Hello!:-)
ReplyDeleteHello! Welcome - glad you found something fun here:)
DeleteI like to have a hand stitching project, too. Hand stitching can be so relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean - I definitely crave handwork when I've been doing machine work ad nauseum. Your double hourglass quilt looks beautiful - that hand quilting is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYour hand quilting is so pretty. :o) Yes, I hand quilt my quilts, I can not afford to have them quilted professionally and I stink at it on my machine. I feel like I am able to get better control when I do it by hand. :o) Thanks for your sweet words left on my blog. :o)
